Ten steps to good health

TEN STEPS TO GOOD HEALTH

7.c grade: 20 students

                How about taking care of your health (P.Q.)

Step 1: Eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegatables.   (Yes:16    No:4)
Those who want to take good care of their health should eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, especially if it is fresh.They are source of vitamins and minerals that cannot be produced by an organism in the quantity that we need.Food source:    orange, lemon, carrot, apple, blueberry, etc.

Step 2: Don't eat too much food that contains a lot of sugar or salt.          (Yes:11    No:9)
Eating a lot of sugar and salt is not good for our health beacuse it causes high blood pressure and diabetes.

Step 3: Drink a lot of water (at least 1.5 l per day).    (Yes:18   No:2)
Water is useful for everyday drinking, without fouling, it contains balanced minerals that are not harmful to health.If there wasn't water there wouldn't be life on Earth either.There wouldn't be us.

 Step 4: Don't drink too much soft drinks or alcohol.   (Yes:20   No:0)
Soft drinks, if you drink them too much, are not good for our health because they cause problems with digestive system, bones and kidneys.Alcohol is also not good for our health, primarily for cardiovascular system, brain and liver.

Step 5: Don't smoke.     (Yes:20   No:0)
Persons who smoke harm themselves and the others around them.Tobacco is not good for our heart and pulmonary system.Be smart, don't smoke!

Step 6: Sleep at least seven hours a day.       (Yes:16   No:4)
Sleeping is a stage when our organism is resting and producing energy for tomorrow.It's good for our health and we should have at least three hours of deep sleep.When people think about sleeping they usually think about quantity but quality is also very important.

Step 7: Do sports and exercises.       (Yes:20   No:0)
People who do a lot of exercises or sports live longer and healthier.For those others it is more likely that they won't feel well.

Step 8: Spend your time in the fresh air as more as you can.     (Yes:18    No:2)
We should spend some time in the fresh air because it is good for our body and health.It's not important whether we are going to walk in the woods, by the sea or somewhere else, the only important thing is that we are out in the fresh air. Of course, it doesn't suggest that we should only walk in the streets with a lot of smog.

Step 9: Don't stay in the Sun too long in the summer.   (Yes:13   No:7)
We shouldn't stay in the Sun too long in the summer because of the ultraviolet radiation.An overexposure to UVB radiation can cause sunburn and some forms of skin cancer.

Step 10: Laugh a lot.   (Yes:20   No:0)
In 2005. two scientists managed to prove that laughter is healthy because it increases our blood flow.People who laugh live longer.

If you've already been following these steps then keep that way.  
If you haven't then it's better for you to start.

Yes means that a student complies to the suggestion.      
 No means that a student does not comply to the suggestion.
