Thanksgiving Day was first celebrated in the U.S.A. by the first immigrants from England, known as the Pilgrims Fathers.
Today, it is the great family holiday, where the American famillies meet together having delicious lunch, roast turkey and pumpkin pie as the traditional Thansgiving meal.
Do you know anything about this holiday? Is there a similar holiday in our country?
Our 8th graders- 14 students- heard about Thanksgiving - just 2 of them do not know about this holiday- but know all details about " delicious food".
