Thanksgiving Day is only celebrated in the U.S. A. and Canada. It always comes the fourth Thursday in November ( in the U.S.A. ).
Americans celebrate the first successful harvest by the time when English settlers came to the New World- it was in 1619. after a long voyage on the ship "The Mayflower", where they set up a colony. The first winter half of them died and Indians ( native people) helped the pilgrims survive, teaching them how to farm and hunt. So, after the first harvest they had a dinner party together and the celebration lasted three days. But it was a long time ago!
Today it is the American national holiday and the great family meeting, where they have the roast turkey with cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, corn, peas and gravy.
Parades are held all over the country. The most famous one is Macy"s Parade - in New -York.
So, let us see what our 7 graders know about that?

· - do not know any information 4 students
· - know a little 44 students

It is not bad, what do you think?
So, Happy Thansgiving to all people who celebrate this Holiday!
