THE RECORDS

 -Andy Green is the current holder of the World Land speed record, and the first person to break the sound barrier on land. On 25 September 1997 in ThrustSSC he beat the previous record in Black Rock Desert, USA, reaching a speed of 714.144 mph (1149.30 km/h).

-John Kennedy Howard is an Olympic cyclist from the United States, who set a land speed record of 152.2 miles per hour (245 km/h) while motor-pacing on a pedal bicycle on July 20, 1985 on Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats. This record was beaten in 1995 by Fred Rompelberg.

-The largest bubble ever blown was 58.4 centimeters in diameter. The record was set on July 19, 1994 by Susan Montgomery Williams.

-Elvis Aaron Presley was one of the most popular American singers of the 20th century. A cultural icon, he is widely known by the single name Elvis. He is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King".

-Karam Chand (1905) and Kartari Chand (1912) married each other on 06 January 1925.They live in Bradford, United Kingdom and they have been married for 87 years and 83 days.

-Jeanne Louise Calment (21 February 1875 – 4 August 1997) was a French woman who had the longest confirmed human life span in history, living to the age of 122 years, 164 days. She lived in Arles, France for her entire life, and outlived both her daughter and grandson.

-A boomerang was used to set a Guinness World Record with a throw of 427.2 meters by David Schummy on March 15, 2005 at Murrarie Recreation Ground, Australia.

-The world’s tallest snowman of 29.43 meters  was built in Maine back in 1999.It was called Angus. Angus was so big that his nose was 2.43 meters long, his hat was 6 meters in diameter and the scarf around his neck was 20 meters long. His eyes were 1.22 meter wreaths, and his smile was made out of automobile tires.
